Lewis and Clark were pioneers in mapping out the historical territory across the US, like the pioneers, Lewis and Clark Bluegrass Expedition blazed the trail to new territory in the music world. Colonel Eric Lewis started his music journey at age 15, and in the 1960's he began to perform in public for the first time, in the early 1970's he joined the Heart of the Ozarks Bluegrass Association in his home town of West Plains, MO he began to perform at festivals, in 1981 he formed his group. the group have had several different changes in personnel, he partnered with Kirby Clark in the 1980's and the name was established. With the devastating disease of Alzheimer's was contracted by his father, he had to resign and take care of his father, Eric continued the group and kept the story alive. the group consists of Colonel Eric Lewis, guitar, Dennis Reese, Bass, Gary Shipley banjo and Dobro and Corky Dow mandolin. We play for festivals, fairs, schools, colleges, government, corporate, weddings, parties, any venue large or small
